Rules and responsibilities for a smooth rental experience.

1. Rental Agreement

By booking a vehicle through GallePath Rental, you agree to these legal conditions. You must provide a valid driver's license (International or Sri Lankan temporary conversion for scooters) and be at least 18 years old.

2. User Responsibilities

The renter is responsible for the vehicle during the rental period. This includes:

  • Safe Operation: Following all Sri Lankan traffic laws and wearing a helmet at all times.
  • Vehicle Condition: Returning the vehicle in the same condition as it was received.
  • Fuel: Returning the vehicle with the same level of fuel as at the start of the rental.
  • Security: Keeping the vehicle locked when not in use.

3. Payments and Deposits

Rental fees must be paid in full at the start of the rental. A security deposit may be required, which is fully refundable upon the safe return of the vehicle.

4. Damages and Accidents

Any damage incurred during the rental period is the financial responsibility of the renter. In the case of an accident, the renter must contact GallePath Rental immediately.

5. Cancellations

Cancellations made 24 hours prior to the booking time are eligibility for a full refund or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may incur a small fee.

ACCIDENT & BREAKDOWN** In the event of an accident, the renter must immediately contact GallePath Rental. The renter is fully responsible for all damages and must bear the full cost of repairs. The company provides 24/7 technical support within the designated service area. Support is limited to breakdowns or technical issues only. If the vehicle cannot be repaired immediately due to a breakdown or technical issue, a temporary replacement vehicle will be provided, subject to availability. --- ## **7. TRAFFIC FINES & LEGAL RESPONSIBILITY** The renter is responsible for: * Any police fines * Traffic violations * Legal issues arising during the rental period All such costs must be paid by the renter. --- ## **8. VEHICLE USAGE TERMS** * The renter must possess a valid driving license. * The vehicle must not be used for illegal activities. * The vehicle must not be given to another person without permission. * The renter must operate the vehicle responsibly and safely. --- ## **9.
